Obituary of Charles Robert Botterill

A resident of Chatham, passed away suddenly Friday January 01 2016 at the Chatham- Kent Health Alliance at the age of 81. Dear Son of the late Stanley Alexander Botterill of Alberta and Margaret Evelyn Kimmerly Botterill of Chatham.
Father of Kevin Botterill, Marsha Fishleigh and Belinda Shepherd and the late Brian, Kim, and Stacey Botterill. Grandfather of 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Dear friend of Diane Legary of Chatham.
There will be no funeral home visitation or service, Immediate family only will meet at the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home for private remembrance on Monday as per Bob’s wishes.
A memorial graveside service will be held later after cremation.
Bob was a respected employee of the Chatham courthouse (retired) and was known best for founding the Chatham-Kent Boxing Club where he provided many years of coaching and leadership to the youth of Chatham-Kent.
Donations to the Chatham-Kent Boxing Club would be appreciated.
