At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Tuesday October 15, 2024, Frances Julie Gazarek, of Chatham at the age of 97 years.

Born in Tupperville in 1927, daughter of the late Julie (Smistik) and Martin Gazarek. Frances worked at Navistar until her retirement.

Lovingly remembered by her nephew William (Barb) Sherman. Cousins Ed Gazarek and family, Patty (Dennis) Morgan and family, Mary Buchta, Rose Buchta and Tom Buchta (Marsha) and family. Predeceased by a sister Mary Sherman (1990) and her husband Ernest Sherman.

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Saturday October 19, 2024 from 10 am until 11:30 am.

 A Funeral Mass will then be celebrated on Saturday at 12 noon in St. Joseph’s Church. 

Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
