Obituary of Ian Smith

Suddenly on Sunday December 8, 2024 at the age of 34. 

Born August 15, 1990, beloved son of Donald Smith and Robin (Lyle) Wallace. Dearest brother of Ryan Smith and Shannon Smith.  Brother in-law to Jesse Smith. Dear uncle to Christopher, Quentin, Khloe and Ellis. Sadly missed by his grandmother Gaye Thompson. 

Ian will also be missed by many extended family members and friends. 

Predeceased by his grandparents Vernie Smith (1969), Simone Yvonne Smith (1988) and John Thompson (2020).

Cremation and a private family service has taken place.

The Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ian’s memory to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
