Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Monday, September 28, 2015, John Ancocik, age 89, of Chatham, beloved husband of Helen Ancocik (Nemecek). Born in Slovakia, son of the late Mary and John Ancocik.
He will be sadly missed by: his son J. David Ancocik and his wife Debbie, and their son John Ancocik; his daughters Nancy Ancocik, and Marilee and her husband Dan St. Pierre, their children, Brian St. Pierre and his wife Amanda, Jennifer and her husband Pat Crawley, and great grand daughter Haylee. Predeceased by his sister Betty Fryscok and her husband Olda.
John was retired after a 40 year career as supervisor of safety and security at International Harvester and was also a sales representative for Industrial Sheet Metal Fabricators for 10 years.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 6 – 9 PM. Vigil Prayers will be offered at 7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 1:30 PM in Our Lady of Victory Church.
Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
