At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Thursday August 27, 2015, Esterina Maria Basaneze, age 79, of Merlin, beloved wife of Guerino Basaneze. Born in Castelvetere, Italy in 1936, daughter of the late Maria (Magliaro) and Geraldo Meriano.
Loving mother of Franco (Angela) Basaneze of Pain Court and cherished nona of Nina, Reno and Nico. Predeceased by a sister Luigia Perullo, and by brothers; Tony Meriano and Vincezo Meriano.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Friday August 28, 2015 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday August 29, 2015 at 10 am in St. Agnes’ Church.
Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice would be appreciated.
