Obituary of Cally Myers

Peacefully, at London Health Science Centre – Victoria Campus, on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, Cally Noel Myers, age 44, of Chatham, beloved daughter of Bernie and Dorinda Myers. Much loved and cherished sister of Lorie (Ken) Melnyk and Bill (Liz) Myers. Special A.C. to her nieces Mandi Melnyk, Alesha Myers, her nephews, Billy Melnyk (Carly), Josh (Jacky) Myers, and Andrew Myers (Jessalyn). She is survived by her Godfather Leonard Crow, her aunts, Ella Morrison, Feby Van Praet, and Mary Ann McKenna, her uncle Clarence Myers and several cousins. Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 PM . A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 1:30 PM in St. Ursula’s Church. Cremation will follow with burial of cremated remains at a later date in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. Cally was a kind and gentle soul that would do anything for anyone and lived to take care of others. She loved gardening and cooking and was great at both. She loved all animals and would feed any that came around. Everyone who knew her could appreciate her wonderful sense of humour and her sarcasm. She will be missed terribly. Thank you to the medical team and support staff of the Critical Care Unit at LHSC, Victoria Hospital, especially Brenda Morgan and Cally’s primary nurses. Your loving care and compassion will never be forgotten. In lieu of flowers, donations to a fund to be established in Cally’s name for Victoria Hospital CCTC to support patient’s families would be appreciated.
