Please share a memory of William to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
A resident of Chatham, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 surrounded by family at the age of 67, after a 5 year courageous battle with cancer. Born in Chatham, son of Leo (1982) and Dorothy. Beloved husband of Donna-Jean (née Brown).
Survived by a sister Jan. Much loved father of Bill Leon (Rebecca), Dave, and a predeceased toddler daughter Denise (1971). Respected by grandsons Zachary and Justin.
Bill was a hard worker for 36 years as quality control at Eaton Yale Ltd., all the while putting on additions and remodelling homes. He was a jack-of-all-trades and could repair or build just about anything. Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting locally and at the Lucky 7 Hunt Camp. In the company of their grandfather and by his example and guidance, Zachary and Justin have become independent skilled fishermen who both thoroughly enjoy the sport. Bill will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends.
At Bill’s expressed request, cremation has taken place, and inurnment will take place at a later date at his daughter Denise’s burial site which is in Ward Y in New St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Chatham.
At that time, a private memorial service will take place. Online Condolences may be left at www.peseski.com 156 William St. S. Chatham, On. N7M-4S8, 519-352-5120
