Obituary of Edythe Kersey

Peacefully, at her residence in London, on Wednesday, July 30, 2015, Edythe Marie Kersey, age 85, of London, beloved wife of the late Lawrence Kersey. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Rachel and Henry Hurst.
She is survived by her children, Bev Kersey of Oshawa, Paul (Sallie) Kersey and Heidi Kersey both of London, her grandchildren, Jasmyn, Selina, Marilee, Jon-Paul, and Nicole, and one great grandchild, Jaiden. Also survived by her brother Richard (Elsie) Hurst of Chatham, many nieces and nephews and extended family in Chatham and Detroit. Predeceased by her son, Robert Kersey, and her siblings, Charles Hurst, Jean Crosby, and Helen Hurst.
Special thanks to all the health care professionals that looked after Edythe for the care and compassion they demonstrated.
Cremation has taken place.
A Graveside Service will be held in Maple Leaf Cemetery on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 11 AM.
Donations to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke would be appreciated.
