Obituary of Mary Forster

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Maple City Residence on Wednesday July 29, 2015. Mary Forster, age 90, beloved wife of the late Gerard Forster (1995). Born in Buckley, North Wales in 1924, daughter of the late Mary (Williams) and Samuel Martin.
Mary was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Women’s Auxiliary, a Volunteer for the Red Cross Blood Donor Clinic, a member of the Active Lifestyle Centre and the Lawn Bowling Club.
She is survived by daughter Vivian (Andrew) Kendrick; 2 sons Martin (Joanne) Forster and Paul (Janice) Forster. Cherished by all her 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Predeceased by sisters; Winifred Lloyd, Marjorie Porter, Esther Caldow and by brothers Bernard and Jim Martin.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Friday July 31, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 7 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday August 1, 2015 at 10am in Blessed Sacrament Church.
Cremation will follow, with burial of ashes in St. Anthony’s Cemetery at a later date.
Donations to the Ursuline Charities would be appreciated.
