Peacefully, at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, on Friday, July 10, 2015, Marianna Rostkowicz, age 96, of Chatham. Beloved wife of the late Witoll Olkowski (1966) and Julian Rostkowicz (1993). Born in Poland in 1919, daughter of the late Rosalia (Zewnicki) and Czeslaw Chrzanowski.
Loving mother of Teresa Stepnowski, Regina (Ted) Szymanski, Jannina (Wieslaw) Jankowski, Jadwiga Kolakowska and Angela (Jery) Podpora and step mother of Joseph (Christina) Rostkowicz, Susan Rostkowicz and Walter Rostkowicz. Dearest grandmother of 22 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Halina Zebrowski. Predeceased by her daughters; Barbara and Sabina, and her brothers; John and Tadeusz Chrzanowski.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 7 PM.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 10 AM in Our Lady of Victory Church. Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
