Peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Wednesday July 8, 2015, Mary Gertrude Pear, age 90, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Charles Pear (1994). Born in Port Hill, P.E.I. in 1924, daughter of the late Blendina (Cameron) and James Gillis.
Dear friend of Mary DeBusschere and Al and Dorothy Maier and the late Elsie Verbruggen (2015). Predeceased by sisters; Margaret Gillis, Theresa MacDonald and by brothers; William, Joseph, Andrew and Charles Gillis.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Friday July 10, 2015 from 12:30 PM – 1:15 PM.
A Funeral Mass will then be celebrated at 1:30 PM in St. Joseph’s Church.
Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill Ontario.
Donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated.
