Obituary of Ewa Rup

Peacefully, at Banwell Garden Care Centre, Windsor, on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, Ewa Rup, age 95, formerly of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Jan Rup (2006). Born in Poland, daughter of the late Nikolai and Ewa Krupa.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Kristen Rup-Janik and her husband Alan Janik of Lakeshore, Henry Rup of Tecumseh, and Stanley Rup and his wife Simone of Chatham. Also surived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Ewa was predeceased by her brothers and a sister.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 10 am in Our Lady of Victory Church.
Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the entire staff of Banwell Garden Care Centre for their care and compassion.
