Peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Healthcare, Hamilton, on Saturday, February 18, 2017, Maria Grazia Doto, age 90, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Michele Doto (1996). Born in Castelvetere sul calore, Italy, daughter of the late Consiglia (Cristofono) and Antonio Orecchio.
She will be sadly missed by her sons, John (Rosanna) of Stoney Creek and Tony (Jennifer) of Chicago, 5 grandchildren, Steven (Samantha), Jennifer (Quinn) Fairley, Andrew (Holly), Gabriella, Michael, and 4 great grandchildren, Aria, Kessia, Taya, and Bianca.
Also survived by her sisters in Italy and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her brother Rizziero Orecchio.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 7 pm.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Ursula’s Church on Wednesday February 22, 2017 at 11 am.
Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
