Peacefully, at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Friday, October 31, 2014, Lucie Rita Marie Normandin, age 86, of Chatham. Born in Chatham on December 6, 1927, daughter of the late Adele and Dona Normandin. Rita worked at Meritor for many years.
She is survived by her cousins, Hilary O’Mara and Marion Normandin. Dear friend of Edgar and Rolande Perreault of Chatham.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 7 – 9 PM and Vigil Prayers will be offered at 7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 10 AM in Immaculée Conception Church, Pain Court. Burial will be in St. Philippe Cemetery, Grande Pointe.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Association would be appreciated.
