Obituary of Lillian McCorkindale

In the wee morning hours of January 20, 2017 Lillian Brown McCorkindale passed away at the age of 82 at Copper Terrace Long Term Care Facility. Born November 11, 1934 in Glasgow, Scotland daughter of William and Sarah McLuckie. Beloved wife of Daniel McCorkindale and sister of Hugh and Barb McLuckie. Lillian was an accomplished knitter, gardener, lover of animals and the arts as well as a source of strength and resiliency to all those around her. Lillian is survived by her daughter Margaret McCorkindale, son William McLuckie McCorkindale, and daughter in-law Chrystal McCorkindale as well as her two granddaughters Michelle (Tyler) and Deirdre (Nikolai) McCorkindale. She was also the dear sister of Milne, Margaret, Jan, Neil and the late Isabelle McCorkindale. Lillian will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
At Lillian’s request, cremation has taken place and a service will be held at Christ Anglican Church Memorial Gardens on Thursday January 26, 2017 at 12 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Chatham-Kent would be greatly appreciated.
