Obituary of Jeanne Bélanger

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Monday September 15, 2014, Jeanne Doreen Bélanger, age 71, of Grande Pointe, beloved wife of Vincent Bélanger. Born in Chatham in 1943, daughter of the late Virgina and Donné Myers.
Jeanne was a dedicated employee of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for over 40 years and enjoyed her work there. She was very witty and full of life and spirit and had a great sense of humor. Jeanne was also very generous and willing to help anyone she could.
She is survived by 2 daughters Michelle Bélanger of Korea, Janine Bélanger (Shawn Hobbs) of Merlin. Cherished Memè of Audrey, Brian, Danielle, Michael and Emma. Dear sister of Dorothy (Romeo) Lozon and Romeo (Ruth) Myers. Predeceased by 4 brothers Alvin, Orville , Seville and Roland Myers.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home for memorial visitation, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Thursday September 18, 2014. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Friday September 19, 2014 at 11am.
Cremation has already taken place. Donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice would be appreciated.
