Peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Sunday January 8, 2017, Mary Duphette, age 92, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Hector Duphette (1989). Born in Wesdorpe, Holland in 1924, daughter of the late Magdeline (VanHulle) and Rudolph DeVos.
Loving mother of Sandra (Larry) Myers, Larry Duphette and Ron (Fay) Duphette. Cherished grandmother of Greg, Kelly, Litsa, Nicole, Kurtis, Michelle, Deanne, Amy and Erin. Great grandmother of 16.
Predeceased by a daughter Theresa Benninger (2007) and her husband Eugene (2007) and by sisters; Julia Morden (2007), Tena Potter (2003), Annie Neville and a brother Bernard DeVos.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Wednesday January 11, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday January 12, 2017 at 10 am in St. Agnes Church.
Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
