Obituary of Vera Missiaen

Peacefully, at Meadow Park Nursing Home, Chatham, on Friday, May 30, 2014, Vera Anne Elizabeth Missiaen, age 83, of Chatham. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Antonie and Antonin Gazarek and stepfather Henry Kapsa.
She is survived by her children, Carol (Ray) Rasokas, and Ronald (Lori) Missiaen, and Joanne (Donald) Hector, her grandchildren Jennifer, Laura (Jeff), Eric, and Jason and one great grandson, Luke. Also survived by her brother John Gazarek and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her brothers Antonin Gazarek and Joseph Kapsa and a sister Mary Flieger. A private family service was held in the funeral home chapel followed by burial in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to the O.S.P.C.A. Chatham-Kent would be appreciated.
