Peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Thursday, April 10, 2014, James Barry Shaw, age 70, of Chatham. Beloved husband of 49 years to Elizabeth “Ann” Shaw (Peterson). Born in Windsor in 1943, son of the late Elda and Robert Shaw.
Loving father of Chris (Linda) Shaw, Ken (Janet) Shaw, Lee Ann Bennett (Susan Dykxhoorn) and Len (Nicole) Shaw. Dearest grandfather of Andrew, Jessica, Ashley, Abigaile, Ainsley, Lauren, Erin, Elizabeth, Jacob and Malcolm. Dear brother of Janet (Ralph) Alward, Robert Lynn (Micheline) Shaw and Edward (Deb) Shaw. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Richard Shaw (2014). Cremation has taken place.
Friends and relatives may visit at the funeral home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 9:30 AM until time of Memorial Service at 11:00 AM with Rev. Susan Jolley officiating.
Donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
