Obituary of Marilyn Blonde

Passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Thursday, December 29, 2016, Marilyn (Marni) Theresa Blonde, age 89, of Chatham. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Grace (Green) and Arthur Blonde.
She will be sadly missed by her sister, Patricia Marie Charlebois. Loving aunt and second mother to Rene (Carla) Martin, Louise (Paul) Harris, Rita (Brian) Biskey, Anne-Marie (Mike) Zink, Loretta (Chris) Ross, Marc, Colette, Paul, André, Phil (Jenette) Charlebois, and Suzanne (Keith) Cooper. She will also be greatly missed by many great nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by sisters Joanne and Betty, brother John, brothers-in-law Pierre Charlebois and Real Martin, and nephew, Bernie Martin.
Marni worked as a secretary at Towland Construction in London before enjoying retirement in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Marni’s legacy will live on in the retelling of all of her wonderful misadventures by all who knew and loved her. Her quick wit and generosity of spirit will be forever remembered and cherished. Love you Duckie.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow and will be celebrated at 11 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church.
