Obituary of Arthur Peck

At the Chatham-Kent Hospice, on Friday November 25, 2016, Arthur Leo Peck, age 95, of Chatham, beloved husband of the late Julia (Breynaert) Peck (2002) . Born in Chatham in 1921, son of the late Caroline (Antaya) and Robert Peck.
Art was a drilling supervisor for Imperial Oil and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for over 72 years. He Served with the Canadian Army during WWII, served with the United Nations from 1950-1951, was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and a member of Branch 642 Legion.
Dear Godfather of Ed (Cheryl) Thibeault, Robert (Mary Ellen) Myers, Deborah (Late Ken) Franklin, special great nephews Chris and Kyle Thibeault. Also sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 sons Robert and Gerard and by 3 brothers Gilbert, Henry and Francis Peck.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Tuesday November 29, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday November 30, 2016 at 10:30 am in St. Joseph’s Church.
Legion Memorial Service Tuesday evening at 6:45 pm.
Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or the Charity of One’s Choice would be appreciated.
