Peacefully surrounded by family at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, Chatham, on Saturday November 19, 2016, Dennis Neil Lucas, of Chatham at the age of 80 years. Former husband of the late Germaine (Bechard) 1996.
Born in Chatham in 1936, Dennis was a Facility Supervisor at Southwestern Regional Centre.
He is survived by his children; Vicki Carrington, Denise (Bart) Dykma, Tammy Lucas (Jamie Ireland), and D’Arcy (Linda) Lucas. Dear brother of Donna Lucas. Sadly missed by 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and a son-in-law Timothy Brown. Predeceased by a daughter Cathy Brown (Jan 2016).
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm on Tuesday November 22, 2016.
Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Wednesday November 23, 2016 at 1 pm with Rev. Paul McPhail officiating.
Interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Donations to the Charity of One’s Choice would be welcomed by the family.
