Peacefully, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Sunday, September 4, 2016, Leo Leonard Authier, age 77, of Chatham, beloved husband of the late Leone Duquette (2007) and Jean Devries (2013). Born in Chatham, son of the late Loretta (Lozon) and James Joseph “Mede” Authier.
Sadly missed by his children David and Lori Authier of Guelph, Pam and David MacFarlane, Chris Authier, Bernie and Linda Duquette, Brad and Val Duquette, and Teena Duquette (Ken Jones) all of Chatham. Also sadly missed by his 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and his sisters Jean (Ken) Robertson and Yvonne Duceder (late Gerald) of Chatham. Predeceased by his son Randy Authier (1972) and his brother Jim Authier.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 11 am – 12 pm on Thursday, September 8, 2016.
A Memorial Service will be conducted the funeral home chapel at 12 noon with Fr. Ray Lawhead officiating.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
