This is three+ years late, however I only became aware of Franks passing this week. Condolences to Helen, Mike, Pat, Mary Anne, Barb and the entire family. Frank and Helen were very present at both my mother and fathers visitations and funerals with compassion, kind words, hugs and support. I had not seen Frank and Helen in at least 20 years yet their warmth was very much appreciated! Frank was an extraordinary, graceful and larger than life man who left an unforgetable musical/dancing/singing impression on all our lives. Thank you Frank!!!

Helen and Family, what a thrill is was to be part of the Respect Revolution Team. Whenever Frank came into the room he brought a incredible aura of happiness and joy. To live, to love, to leave a legacy, Frank did all of these. What a magnificent model of a husband, a father and a friend.

I am very sorry to learn of Frank’s passing. I met Frank at Toastmasters and remember him as such a warm and friendly gentleman who truly seemed to be so happy, and grateful for everything and everyone in his life. His love for his family, and the pride he had in his heritage was evident whenever he spoke. His smile and laugh were infectious. Please accept my sincere condolences as you deal with your loss. Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the loss of Frank. I came to know Frank while driving the bus charters for the Respect Revolution.
Often I remember with fondness chatting with Frank during performance breaks or while on the road going from school to school. He was so engaging and had a spark in his eyes and a smile that would light up the room. We had several chats over those years and I'll always cherish memories of them.

Dear Helen and Family
Frank’s loyal and jovial presence at the Chatham Concert Band’s summer concerts in the Park will be sorely missed, and I want you all to know how much we appreciated his (and your) support. After concerts, Frank would often seek me out to offer words of encouragement and his genuine thanks for the musical program offered that night. It meant a lot to me and to the band members to have such support and encouragement and he always did it with a warm smile and a hearty handshake! You couldn’t part ways with Frank without feeling at least a little bit better about yourself and the world around you.......what a gift he had!
Our sincere condolences on the loss of Frank, following a life well-lived. We will cherish his memory.

We are deeply sadden to loose such a special brother Frank, brother-in-law, and uncle....Although our visits to Chatham where usually for a very short period of time, it does not take away from the great memories of times spent with Frank, be it on the farm, at the beaches, weddings, and other social gathering such as St. Anthony’s festivities ....we do know that one of his and Helen’s favourite enjoyments where attending the Chatham Concerts Bands evening concerts in the Park during the summer.....I,.being a former member of the Chatham Police Boys Band back in the mid 50’s, I certainly can relate to the joys Frank and Helen had in attending these concerts.....back in those times, I believe the Concert band was named the Chatham Kittle Band, and eventual over time became the present Chatham Concert Band, which I understand does reach out to up and coming youth with musical opportunities and encouragement to learn and try different musical instruments......

Dear Helen and family:
So very sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved husband, father and grandfather. He is a loss to the entire Czech community as well. We were so grateful when Frank included our children in the Czech dancing lessons and songs which gave them a love for their Czech/Slovak heritage. It was always good to see you guys in Petrolia at the VPP. We were very sad to hear of his passing and our family will always remember him with loving thoughts.

Dear Helen, Michael, Pat, Mary Anne, Barb and families and Joe, Lorraine and John, Marie and families:
Sending all of our love and condolences at the loss of dear Frank...anyone that knew him, loved his sense of humour and leadership qualities. He was such a pillar not only of the entire Czech community but in Chatham Kent in many clubs such as ringette and of course at church with his faith. He was like a brother to my dad, Louis and we all have so many great memories of him . It was great running into Frank and Helen at their grandson Simon’s volleyball games when his team ( the Pines ) was playing against our son Evan’s team (JMSS) . We will continue to keep you all in our thoughts and prayers , Take care, Don and Karen Rae ( Kohoutek), Amanda, Alison and Evan

Our most deepest thoughts and heart-warming condolences go out to Helen and the entire Vadjik family. I remember Frank and Helen visiting our house on Sunday evenings when we were young. Franks' voice always scared me a little, lol.., but I knew that he was a Giant Teddy Bear who loved us all. As we got older, I found him to be a real genuine, straight shooter kind of guy who really cared about you and really wanted to know how you were doing. Great person who really believed in his faith and in you! God Bless Frank! You will be missed! All our Love, Mark and Deb , Kaitlyn and Josh Kohoutek

My condolences to the Vajdik Family,
Our community lost a true leader , not only the Czech community, but Chatham-Kent. He was a mentor, a teacher and a father figure to many a generation of Czech youth in the area, through dancing, passing on our culture, teaching our heritage and history, By organizing so many events and functions he helped carry on traditions that will last in all of our memories. He not only was an inspiration to myself, but to my children and wife, he truly left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His smile and positive attitude and energy were contagious, and he will be missed by many.

First of all condolences to the family for the loss of a GREAT MAN.
From a Toastmaster prospective:
I would just like to comment that, Frank; always portrayed himself as a victim at TM; being led down a path by his daughter to join Toastmasters and she left him there to fend for himself. In reality, this kept him off the streets and out of trouble for a night.
I was an Area 42 director in Chatham for a term and attended mtg's. featuring Frank.
There was never a problem where Frank sat at a mtg.; since you could always hear his boisterous voice. A voice loud and full of humour. A voice that could motivate every member in the club. I think he may have gotten this from yelling across the acres of his farm.
I would bet a box of Tim-bits, in Frank's 15 years of attending mtgs. that; he never missed a chance to inspire others and always led the club by example to fulfill roles and challenge fellow members for speech contests.
Frank did have a dark side however; for those who may not have known him to well. No, I'm not talking about him stealing military tanks; but Frank was a Montreal Canadian worshiper !!!! Not Detroit, which is closer, nor Toronto, like the rest of Ontario but a Montreal fan, he was not even French but still he was a Montreal Fan. I bet he was never cured of that.
Glad, I had the opportunity to come Frank's defense . Thank you for all you did for TM and your community and we all loved you and will miss you.
Giacomo Rovere DTM Toastmasters LaSalle.

So many cherished memories were created here by them, his children, grandchildren and friends. So, THANK YOU. Thank you that we can now be the guardians of what his entire family created.
