Obituary of Edward Albert Mailloux

It is with a profound sense of sadness and loss that we announce the passing of our dearest Dad and Grandfather, Edward Mailloux on May 13, 2020 at 82 years of age. Loving husband to the late Joan Marie, Ed leaves a legacy of a loving family behind him: children, Dana (Al), Kristy (Peter), Jodie (Shannon), and Paul (Kim); grandchildren, Joseph, Nicole, Ronson, Patrick, Jaren, Zachary, Jadelyn, and Shane. Ed will be greatly missed by his loving friend Rebecca, siblings Lauretta (Allan), Jeanette, Richard (Laney), Betty Jean (Mark) and many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Ed was predeceased by Pauline (Bill), Gerald (Marjorie), Gladys (Cisco), Bill, and parents Orion and Marie. Those who knew Ed well, knew he could routinely be found spending time at his cottage surrounded by family and friends. He enjoyed a competitive round of Dominoes and was the partner everyone wanted in a Euchre game! Known as the man who could fix anything, he was always building or repairing something. Always busy, always moving, that was Ed! His laugh, smile and enthusiasm for life was infectious, he will be missed immensely.
