Peacefully surrounded by his family at Riverview Gardens on Saturday August 14, 2021, Eugene Tengelis, age 91.  Beloved husband of Elsa (Erdie) Tengelis.  Born in Niagara Falls in 1930, son of the late Agnes (Jakob) and Eugene Tengelis Sr.  

Loving father of Patricia Tengelis, Gerald Tengelis, Linda (Dave) Caron, James (Trish Koufes), and Christopher Tengelis.  Dearest grandfather of Alyssa, Daniel and Ethan.  He is survived by his brother John (Doris) Tengelis and his nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by his son Bobby (1973).  

A private family service will be held at a later date at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120).  

Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.

Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or Riverview Gardens (6th Floor) would be appreciated.
